I seem to have to hose people off after consultants get hold of them...as I like to tell them just because somebody says something with a British accent it doesn’t mean it’s somehow automatically correct. I’ve seen people buy into some insanely stupid ideas just because of the eloquence of how it was told to them...despite them knowing better if they stop to actually think about what they are agreeing with.
Andrew Yang is a great example of this phenomenon. -

The meat argument is just absurd! Meats impact on climate change is essentially zero. It is literally absurd to add an emissions tax. What are you going to do? Just kill off all livestock and bury it? Burn the carcass?
