Do a little exercise for yourself on college-ruled paper if you have some. Make 3 columns. Write down issues that are important to you. Write down where the republican candidate stands and where the democrat stands. Put a Checkmark if you're sure the candidate will stick to the policy, a ? if their beliefs or strength of policy is weak. Cross out policies that are important to you but aren't achievable.

Example: Supports Green New Deal. Cross it out.


Review it when you're done. The persona and/or the ethics of the person are not really important unfortunately because literally everyone running for office is flawed in major ways.

Great exercise. Really helpful to identify policy priorities versus personalities. Powerful analysis. It confirmed to me that I want to vote for whomever promotes and continues the inevitable demise of the cancerous federal government and returns power to the people in the states. That’s what the founding fathers wanted. Trump looks good under this strategy. California thanks you.
