Just can't get motivated to visit a state in which 3% beer is "the strong stuff." But I hear the salt flats can be a fun time if you're into that sort of thing.

ArchesVoted for the only one I've been too.
That northeast drive alongside the park out of Moab is amazing as well. Very unexpectedly enjoyable. -
ArchesFrank Zappa likes the hoodoos I see.

ArchesA National Park's bracket would be fucking tits to me and no one else.

Bryce Canyon
Southern Utah is some of the most spectacular geography on Earth. This one is a toss up between Arches and Bryce for me.dnc said:A National Park's bracket would be fucking tits to me and no one else.

I definitely need to see more of it. Only been one time (last summer) and had limited time.YellowSnow said:

CSB tim. The Grand Canyon was our primary goal, it was amazing but maybe ever so slightly disappointing? I dunno, maybe I've just seen it too many times in pics and on TV/movies. It was basically exactly what I was expecting which shouldn't be disappointing? Weird, I know.
But after checking out a little more of Arizona (Sedona, a couple small National Monuments) we went northeast to Monument Valley (VERY COOL), Four Corners (meh), and then north through very southeast Utah to Moab. Only had time to check out one Utah park, pops and I pretty easily went with Arches over Canyonlands. Arches definitely didn't disappoint.
Pops was out here this week for my son's birthday, went on for awhile about how he wishes we'd have had more time through there. Our next road trip will hit Rocky Mountain, Grand Tetons, then camp at Yellowstone.
TLDR; NOC -
ArchesI should add we've been to all the Colorado/Wyoming parks we're hitting next summer a few tims, but never without my mom, who's a buzzkill and can't enjoy anything. So we're going without her.

ZionI've been to Arches, Bryce, and Zion and they are all spectacular, but there is no doubt to me that Zion is the most incredible.
Edited to add that I've biked Moab as well (did the Slick Rock trail and camped along the Colorado River and also biked the Porcupine Rim Trail (which is the greatest mountain bike trail I've ever done (Fisher Creek in Idaho is second, Flume Trail at Tahoe is 3rd...no actually maybe 3rd is the Snodgrass Mountain trail at Crested Butte, Colorado)...Porcupine Rim is intense and scary and so rewarding, though.
Zion has the crowds so you need to use the shuttle bus system, but the hiking...the views, and that incredible river path you can hike with the rubber shoes is something special. -
ZionBuddy does search and rescue at Zion. The amount of people who die there on a regular basis is incredible. Some self inflicted, others just dumb asses.

Zion
yes that Angel's Landing Trail is the scariest shit I've ever seen...I refuse to do the trail because I don't like heights. Look at some of the YouTube footage of people on that thing and you'll get it. There is a reason why people fall off it and die every year. No thanks.huskyhooligan said:Buddy does search and rescue at Zion. The amount of people who die there on a regular basis is incredible. Some self inflicted, others just dumb asses.

check this one out and go to 8:35 seconds to see how fun it is up there when a storm rolls in on you and you have to lay down on the rocks and hold the chain for dear life. Fun!!BennyBeaver said:
