    That's a good question, but bombing oil fields and capturing oil tankers sure makes it look like they want it to happen. They could simply be measuring Trump's weakness, but they're playing a dangerous game.

    Not a completely accurate picture...we export a lot of refined products as well. We are net importers, but it’s a lot more narrow of a gap than 10/20.

    Iran’s oil is currently being sanctioned and it’s crippling their economy. My guess, by limiting the Saudi’s production they’re hoping the sanctions will be lifted.

    Serious answer. Why did Hitler invade Poland and cause all out war? Why did Japan attack Pearl Harbor and cause all out war? Because they both thought that the France, the Brits and the US were soft and they wouldn't risk all out war. The fact that you asked the question seems like you agree with the Iranian perception.
