They aren’t liberals. They are leftists and fascists. I’m a liberal. The founders of this country were liberal. The misuse of that word is astounding. But most people are ignorant. So it’s not surprising.

To Bob’s point...2 family members recently retired from teaching in Seattle after 30ish years.

Basically after working in the lowest income schools their entire career, they finally had enough and walked away. Imagine dedicating your life to helping kids from poor areas with little to no parental support only to have some 29 year old administrator fresh out of grad school tell you you’re racist simply for being a white person working in a predominantly black school and having the audacity to send a kid that attacked a staff member to the principal’s office.

Supposedly there’s some statistic that black kids get sent to the principal and removed from the classroom more often (let’s assume that’s true for the sake of discussion, although I don’t know if that’s actually legit) for disciplinary action. So instead of examining why that might be, they just juke the stats by calling the teachers inherent racists and not allowing the black kids that act out to be punished. And if teachers don’t comply with this policy they retaliate with poor performance reviews and essentially sabotage their records. And guess what? The kids figure it out real quick and the classroom devolves into chaos.

The entire thing is just papering over the actual problem and pretending it no longer exists. Pretty sad. It’s like a season of The Wire.
