More than the 4 states that canceled primaries in 2012 for Obama?
Just asking... -
Why go through the expense? Did states hold dem primaries in 2012? What about Republican primaries in 2004?

The GOP already sold what last little bit of it's soul was left for Trump 2016.
This isn't news. -

But there is a big difference between those past examples and 2020. Actually, three big differences, named Bill Weld, Joe Walsh and Mark Sanford. All three of those men -- two former governors and a former House member -- are running against Trump for the 2020 Republican nomination, each promising to take back the party that the billionaire businessman seized by the throat in 2016. -
I don't know the rules here, but in most communities plagiarisms is a TOS violation.2001400ex said:

Sure. Leftards lie and love to be lied to. Definitely the stupid party. Trump won big in 2016 with a lot of doubters like me. Why would Republicans vote for Jeb Bush open border wannabes in 2020 when they totally rejected the real McCoy in 2016?

Huh? A former Libertarian VP candidate, a radio host with a checkered past, and a disgraced politician? Obama had 50 people run against him in 2012...he even stripped them of their delegates at the convention.2001400ex said:

Log Cabin Republicans Chairman Robert Kabel and Vice Chairwoman Jill Homan argued in a Washington Post op-ed on Friday that Trump has helped remove LGBTQ rights as a wedge issue in the GOP, citing his administration's policies on ending the spread of HIV/AIDS as well as his push to get other countries to conform to modern human rights standards.
The leaders also cited Trump's appointment of Richard Grenell, who is openly gay, as U.S. ambassador to Germany.
"While we do not agree with every policy or platform position presented by the White House or the Republican Party, we share a commitment to individual responsibility, personal freedom and a strong national defense," Kabel and Homan wrote.
The war is over. The gays won -

Four states canceled their respective Democratic primaries altogether, citing Obama being the only candidate to qualify on their respective ballot: Connecticut,[16] Delaware,[17] New York,[18] and Virginia.[19] -
I was responding to the 50 other candidates comment. And if there's only one person on the ballot.... Why would they hold a primary. Why is the gop talking about cancelling primaries 6 plus months out when available candidates aren't known?LebamDawg said:
