I think 8 wins is the floor without development by the R-Fr and any of the true freshmen good enough to play. I have to imagine the defense gets better as the year goes on.

Unless they continue to not have the ability to force a fucking turnover.

No, this is not going to be a great team, but the hyperbole is a bit much. Cal's defense is legit and their RB is tough as hell. It could be that they're just a bad matchup for this UW team, which means that Utah will probably grind us down, too.

I think Gordon needs a bit more tim. He was in good position on a couple plays, but wasn’t able to make the play. The PI call on the last drive was real weak. He was in good position on that play as well.

I have no argument on Cam Williams. Easily the worst tackler on the team, and got blown up by Garbers lead blocking for Dancy on Cal’s second touchdown. Williams put his shoulder into Garbers and went backwards and down. Not a good look to have your starting safety get trucked by a goofy-ass quarterback on the goal line.
