Cal had the ball around the 5 yard line, 1 min left in the game, we had 3 timeouts...
Somehow we got the ball back with 8 FUCKING SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME.
12 year olds playing madden have better clock awareness and management.

Yeah, the refs set the ball and the clock started running. An extra 8 seconds post-kickoff would have made tings more chinteresting
FWIW I thought the PI call on the final drive was unwarranted. The replay showed the the receiver's arm being impeded, but really all he had to do was bend at the elbow a bit and free it -

Nah. Gordon has Massey disease. If he can't learn to turn his fucking head around then move him to safety. Skill number 1 for a CB is find the ball. The moment they got to the 5 it should have been timeout season... but @thechart Makes another appearance and Pete shits the bed with his horrible clock management.
I don’t understand how you can be a D1 coach and not be absolutely dialed in to the clock. Heck, even knowing that the clock starts after the review is completed since the player ran the ball.

Should have let Cal score when the WR caught the ball, but that’s hard to teach. I’m not gonna harp too much on clock management when we were that sloppy on offense and got completely manhandled on defense.
