First bitch! @FKA_Mousecop

Is it first when you got his name wrong? Go ahead and use your editing powers now and pretend it didn't happen. Put some respect on his namesake. That extra keystroke cost me.Neighbor2972 said:First bitch! @FKA_Mousecop

Tagged TCU recruiting coordinator, does he know something we don't?
-
That he’s been talking to the TCU coach more than Gregory otherwise the autocorrect wouldn’t have done that.proof said:Tagged TCU recruiting coordinator, does he know something we don't?

Some technically gifted writing
"It was amazing up there," Shadow Creed (Pearland, Tx.) LB Terrence Cooks said shortly after returning home. "I had a great time at the game and I really loved atmosphere in the stadium."
This was Cooks' first visit to the Pacific Northwest and he said everything made an impression on him.
"For a southern boy, it was kinda cold, but not that bad," Cooks said with a bit of a chuckle. "It's football weather though and I loved the atmosphere there in the stadium before and during the game. The fans were loud and into it. Their fans are loud and they are diehard fans.
"The campus is amazing and so are the views. I love the area up there.
"I came up there in the summer and attended their camp and that's when they offered. They were the first school to offer me."
The offer from the Huskies was quickly followed up by Kansas and Illinois and he's been talking to a handful of other schools as well.
"I have talked with Texas, Nebraska and TCU and a few others," Cooks said. "No matter who I talk to or get offers from, (Washington) will always be in my top three or top five all the way until the end.
"They were my first offer and their camp was the first school camp that I could say I actually learned something from.
"I have a great relationship with coach (Will) Harris and coach (Bob) Gregory. They go out of their way to show me how much they want me to come up there and when I sat down with them, they just said they were glad to have me up there and to spend time getting to know me that much better."
Cooks leads his high school team, which is currently 9-0 in 5A, with over 50 stops to go along with two forced fumbles, but while the 6'2", 210-pounder plays outside right now, the Huskies have different plans for him should he decide to commit to them.
"They see me as an inside linebacker because of my instincts and my ability to run things down," Cooks said. "They said that they like the passion I play with and my motor as well."
While his trip back to Seattle impressed him, Cooks is nowhere near ready to make his decision although a timeline has begun to form.
"I want to take my official visits in the spring or summer and then I am hoping to make my decision before the start of my senior season," Cooks said. "Right now, the main things I am looking at are coaching, a family atmosphere and the education.
"Mostly, I am just looking for a place that I can thrive." -
Faith, family, football. He’s a lock to SC.

The only thing that worries me is he says we will be in his top 3 or top 5. Only way we get him is if Texas and big SEC schools pass.

Our extremely thoughtful and efficient Texas recruiting strategy is built for this!

And we officially have no chance.

Well, it was nice to dream. RIP

It must have been love...

Thought about deleting this thread but figured it would be more fun to watch Gregory get ass blasted by UT and OU.
-
It would take SMU supersized coffee cup to ever pry away some Pearland kid to UW over almost any Texas school let alone UT and Oklahoma.
-
In this case, it doesn’t matter. Unless you’re paying big coffee cup money, a Texas kid is always going to go to UT over UW.Swaye said:Thought about deleting this thread but figured it would be more fun to watch Gregory get ass blasted by UT and OU.

They might flip a coin first but then go to UT.
