FAO Justin Jerbert

The worst Oregon QB since Jason Fife.
I couldn’t give a fuck about his “numbers” he’s a loser who never bails the team out, never makes THE play. He’s dumb as a cunt and has no idea how to win a game or lead or make anyone on the team better.
I can not wait for this season to be over and never see him in a Ducks uniform or hear his fucking name again.
*as noted in my last 2 season previews.

Herbert wasn't the problem in this one.

Sounds like it's Shough Time
-
95% of his throws are bubble screens.

Yeah, he was.GrundleStiltzkin said:Herbert wasn't the problem in this one.

While true, there's no need to denigrate his learning ability; although one last year was supposed to make a difference.MikeSeaver said:Please FUCK OFF to the Atlanta Jets or where the fuck you’re going.

I thought he had a 4.0 tho?

Arroyo is a much bigger problem.
Herbert is mediocre QB that can make all the throws when he is “on”. I never felt he should have replaced Dakota Prukop. He lost a couple of games THAT year also because of poor decision making. -
He isn’t the worst Duck QB since Jason Fife. Your memory or evaluation or both are faulty. Furthermore Jason Fife was a good QB.

It really hurt not only not having Pittman but not having JJ6 was a devastating blow to a receiving corps down abour 4-5 people. Would JJ6 or Pittman dropped that sure TD pass to Addison. I don’t think so. But we will never know. It is what it is.oregonblitzkrieg said:

A lot of the Duck game plan revolves around JJ6
-
That 'sure TD pass' shouldn't have been made in the first place. It was 3rd down, 2 yards away from the endzone. Don't get cute, keep it on the ground. Run it up the middle twice if necessary.DJDuck said:

Well I would agree with that 100% but I was talking about since the decision was made should it be to someone making his first start.
Arroyo is just horrible. Can we overcome his horrible offense is the question. He is a horrible playcaller and the pistol is a trash offense IMO. -

The pistol is a formation, it is not an offense. It does not dictate OL blocking schemes or receivers route trees.

If you tell me what offense Oregon runs I can be correct when I talk about it.
Maybe you are right. There are no real offenses. There are just formations. -
Calling someone JJ6 who hasn’t even played a down for your shitty progrum is the gayest thing i’ve ever seen
-
The play call wasn't bad at all, what are you talking about? The play left a wr in the endzone with no one around him and the ball hit him in the numbers. That dude makes that catch 95% of the time. Just like drops cost us games last year, they already cost us one this year.oregonblitzkrieg said:

It was a horrible call. Throw to our shitty WR's who can't catch a cold, much less a football. 2 plays to get two yards. Run it in for a touchdown. Win the game and not look like idiots on the national stage. Get in the playoff discussion before losing to 3 or 4 mediocre PAC 12 teams. End of story.DuckMayne said:

It’s still a loss but here:
139.5 - QB rating for Justin Herbert. Nix was 98.3. -
Subtract 98.3 from 139.5 and you get Justin Turdbert's actual QB rating.DJDuck said:It’s still a loss but here:

Is 21 personnel(google it) an offense? -
Pro Football Focus on Herbert after the game:
In his first big test of the season, it’s safe to say that Herbert resoundingly failed. His odd hail mary that missed the end zone by almost 10 yards was a microcosm of his game. The Oregon quarterback has crumbled mentally in high-pressure situations routinely over the course of his career. With all the arm talent in the world, his playstyle is almost the opposite of what you’d expect it to be with all those tools. Against Auburn, he looked timid and afraid to let it rip down the football field. Only 12 of his 38 attempts were targeted past the sticks – an egregiously low percentage. Yes, it’s only one game. But it showed a lot of the same issues that we’d hope he’d clean up this past offseason -
