Couldn't quite make it out as anything other than a brown foul smelling lump steaming like Mt. St. Helens.

    oh good fucking fuck.

    that's your list? holy shit.

here's a list - pick any four from this list and you'd be safe:

    Lincoln Kennedy
    Tui
    Steve Emtman
    Lawyer Malloy
    Hugh McElhenny
    Gil Dobie
    Don James
    Rick Redman
    Bob Schloredt
    Sonny Sixkiller
    George Wilson

hard to leave off Arnie Weinmesiter because he's one of a few Huskies in the Pro Football HOF, but truthfully not a lot of people even know who in the fuck he is.

Schloredt and Wilson are a nod to the old days and early Rose Bowl success. Any Rushmore has to have a blend of old and new.

My four, should I have to choose, would be:

Moon, McElhenny, James and Malloy. the only thing controversy on my list would be that I have Malloy in there over Emtman.

my reason: Lawyer was dominant in college and the NFL - as balanced a career as any Husky - he was the mistake eraser at Washington and was a pain in Dan Marino's ass in New England. great, great player. Emtman was in his own class of dominance in college, but he had no pro career to speak of (regardless of the reason).

If Corey Dillon had been just a little more than a rap sheet passing through for 5 minutes you'd put him up there somewhere. Far and away the most dominant offensive player I've ever seen wear a Husky uniform.

Dillon more dominant than McElhenny? Dillon had huge games but was hardly dominant vs good competition. Yes he was a proud and physical runner, a Pure north - south runner who garnered hard yardage and broke away with great speed for his size when he broke the second level. I love Dillion ' s game but can we not slight Hugh? Hugh was the same size and served up an east - west game as impressive as his between - the - tackles style. Come on coug. Stay away from husky history or I'll start spitting our my impression on Ruben Mayes Hayes and the bruiser.

who's slighting Hugh? Read more carefully: most dominant that I've ever seen. I didn't see McElhenny play.

as long as you brought up good competition, who do you think played against better defenses? Dillon or McElhenny?

and Dillon was hardly dominant against good competition? really? care to amplify?

sorry Husky ... I'll keep to my coug business going forward.

Good call Puppy. McElhenny was the man. My dad (who's even older than Tailgater :) ) raves about his exploits constantly. He was on some bad and average teams too IIRC. So his accomplishments are even that much more impressive.

Good Gawd you are a dumb fuck!

Nobody is slighting Hugh and anyone who saw Dillon play knows he was the real deal. His stats were amazing and considering your fucking LamboFS didn't start him the first four games makes him even more incredible.

    Here is Dillon's 1996 season

@ ASU 7 carries for 36 yards, TD
vs BYU 10 carries for 82 yards
    vs Arizona 20 for 125
vs Stanford 36 for 174, TD
    at Notre Dame 18 for 94, 2 TD's
    vs UCLA 33 for 146, 5 TD's
    at Oregon 32 for 259, 3 TD's
    @USC 37 for 128, 2 TD's
    vs Oregon State 24 for 143, 2 TD's
    vs San Jose State 16 for 222, 3 TD's
    at WSU 38 for 155, 3 TD's

    vs Colorado 30 for 140 with 2 TD's.

Had only three games all season long where he didn't rush for 100 yards, two of which were at the start of the year and the other being 94 yards where UW was blown out. Had only two games all year long where he didn't score a TD so please explain to me what big game did Dillon not show up in? Or are you just pulling bullshit out like usual?

Had UW had a James instead of a dumb fuck like Lambo then Dillon probably would have won the Heisman.

holy fuck 259 at Oregon? Only thing close to that I can remember was Dankin Ranken against a disinterested Cal team.

Polk had 286 rushing yards on 29 carries with 2 TD's in that one. Second greatest individual performance ever.

Dillon had 16 for 222 against San Jose State with 1 reception for 83 yards...........in just the first quarter.

And Lambo benched him after one quarter so he wouldn't break McElhenny's record. PLSS obviously agreed with the decision.
