That's because US immigration laws restricting the hiring of undocumented workers are heavily skewed in favor of employers, and in most cases they are never charged, said Muzaffar Chishti, director of the Migration Policy Institute office at the New York University School of Law.

Well some people like me have said institute a beefed up E-verify and then disallow the employer wage deductions paid to bad socials. Chamber of Commerce Republicans and open border dems say hell no.

Well, you gots your ICE and you gots your IRS.

ICE takes people. IRS takes money.

It works out eventually. Failure to file penalties, failure to withhold, failure to pay timely...IRS lets the clock run.

    HTH

I might also add - some industrious young employment attorney might want to pay a visit to the ICE detention center and see how many of those illegals may have or could re-construct their timecards.

OT adds up. The illegals aren't salary exempt.

Probably some sexual harassment and hostile work environment angles in there too.

    Ka-ching.

    Si.

Don't fuck with the payroll taxes. Lie on your income taxes, write off three martini lunches and 'business' trips to Bermuda. But DON'T fuck with the payroll taxes. And don't fuck with the payroll taxes and fail to e-verify. Double whammy.

    That didn't age well.

    Try again.
