Seeing Puppy have such disdain for Keith Price and being so certain Brock would have led the team to more wins this year because KP had more talent around him even though Brock had 13 future draftees one year got me thinking about the boards top 4 all time.

1. Billy Joe Hobert - Just win baby. Dual threat, brash, complete all around college QB.
2. Tui -The last good thing to happen to Washington. Complete bad ass.
3. Warren Moon - Rose Bowl MVP, represented UW well professionally and made the Hall. Hard not to place him as a face of the UW.
4.Jake Locker Keith Price - Dude balled, owns the record books in a stat inflated era while getting pummeled thanks to dude bra.

    You are kidding, right?

Bob Schloredt. One of only four people ever to be a two-time Rose Bowl MVP, and he was the first to ever do it.

    Tui. Comeback Kid.

    Hobert. NT.

    Warren Moon. Back to prominence.

Each of these four did something unique.

That's a great list right there

William Coyle never lost a game as QB in four seasons at Washington.

    History boy. LOL

But you are right. The QB who starred for four years under Gil Dobie and was undefeated should certainly be on the list.

Gotta have Steve Pelluer in there. RB MVP and author of one of the all-time comebacks.

Gotta have Chris Chandler somewhere in there too. Arguably the best pure passer of the bunch (including Moon).

Any list w/o at least one of those two is flawed.

Unless Pelluer went by the alias "Jacque Robinson" he never won a Rose Bowl MVP.

Yeah. That's a good list if you have to narrow it to 4. We should say "Fuck Mt. Rushmore" and put about 3 or 4 more on there so nobody has anything to gweeb about.

No disdain for Price, just got tired of his 7-6 seasons with 1200-1500 yd rushers every year. Sheesh, find a fucking receiver instead of bailing on your progression every snap. The Only Passes down field Price completed were designed throwbacks. Step up and throw. Not my fault he had the worst case of happyfeet ever. Easy to put up meaningless stats, hard to parlay that to victories. Price did lose games for us, several. Watch the film fucko. Love Price, just glad he's gone there Grinolds. Go back to your site. No trolling here for weiner!

I never got to see Schloredt or Heinrich. So I like Doogles' list.

BJH never saw action in a loss. UW won everytime he appeared in a game. If he's not on the top of your list, you ain't doin it right.

The Bob Schloredt led UW teams that won the 60 and 61 Tose Bowls with him as MVP are also known for being epic changing. The Big Ten had owned the Rose Bowl in the post WWII era until those games. Football historians say those two games changed the course of West Coast football. Even if you were not born then, you cannot ignor their importance.

Those were my first two seasons as a Husky fan, tagging along to games with my folks as a first and second grade little boy.

And upsetting the #1 team in the country to win the game made it even better.

Schloredt must be on any list.

Trust me. They were crisp fall days. Back then, it never rained on gameday, unless we needed it to beat USC.
