How the fuck do you even judge Niner(that's what I like to call him), Edwards, Wilcox and Tucker?

Shouldn't Leach have stumbled into a conference title somewhere along the way over the past two decades if he's that great?

Or at least a division title.
Fourth in the North is the true measure of success these days.

In defense of his list, I'm sure there is progress being made behind the scenes that is not reflected on the (Apple Cup) scoreboard.

    Trust the process.

Even Willingham won a conference title. Division Co-champs is the true measure of success these days.

The general theme of "I mean they're Wazzu and yet they've been decent, so this man must be a miracle worker!" is warming my frozen heart though.
Ironic considering it's a well-known fact that UW had an unfair advantage over WAZZU by scheduling the Apple Cup at Pullman during a snowstorm.

I hope Mike Leach stays @ Wazzu for a long, long time.

With the proliferation of the spread offense in nfl. I don’t understand why nfl not knocking on his door.

Leach doesn't look like Sean McVay or KKK.

He's also autistic and a massive political wild card.

    It's not just looks.

If you were the AD at Nebraska (potentially a blue blood - but kind of middling right now) and Scott Frost dropped dead tomorrow - and they told you you could have any coach out of the Pac-12 you wanted ... would any sane person choose someone over Pete?

Or maybe a more realistic one - FSU after Taggs gets blown out... who would you hire if you could have anyone from the Pac at FSU?

By that metric my coach rankings right now in the Pac would be:

    1. Pete
    2. Shaw
    3. Whittingham
    4. Chip (first years are weird, but I don’t have a lot of faith he still has the fire).
    5. Wilcox
    6. Leach
    7. Cristobal (at least he’ll recruit for the next guy)
    8. Herm
    9. Sumlin
    10. Tucker
    11. Smith
    12. Clay

I would pay to see Leach at FSU tho.
