The War Is Over

What did people talk about in 1946?

The "war" is never over.

The "war" is demanding excellence of the University of Washington and holding it to the World Class standard that the University of Washington has built over time.

I'm very happy that we have leadership in right now that demands excellence. It's very exciting to me and after the 10+ years where as a University we kicked ourselves in the fucking junk and then had to build ourselves up, I'm going to damn well enjoy this journey back to the top.

I do find it super amusing that we just won a mother fucking Super Bowl (what up 12's) ... and so many of the players on that team were overlooked. They didn't limit their thinking, dreamed big, and had the testicular fortitude to believe "why not us?"

Yet there are so many people that are so fucking afraid of dreaming big even though they've got a great example RIGHT FUCKING IN FRONT OF THEM of what happens when you do dream big.
