Greg Mother Fucking Ducre

Solid cornerback who didn't get burned often, but was susceptible to the 10-15 yard routes, especially on 3rd down. Good for him.
-
Another guy who could be borderline all conference as a fifth year senior next year playing for a real head coach.

the College All Star Bowl ? Glenville, South Carolina. No, not even Greenville, GLENVILLE. The fuck?

Game MVP. Outstanding for him.

It was in Greenville. That's where Furman is. Nice little city, actually.JaWarrenJaHooker said:the College All Star Bowl ? Glenville, South Carolina. No, not even Greenville, GLENVILLE. The fuck?

Agreed, Greenville's pretty solid for a small city in the south. South Carolina's actually a surprisingly decent state, for the most part.DugtheDoog said:

Ducre's too fast to not be at an NFL camp. He started out the year really strong, but fell off pretty hard as the season went on. I would love to have him back next year. Peters, Ducre, and Kelly as the CB's would make me feel a lot better.
-
Better than he usually got credit for being. As hardcore fans we put guys under a microscope, and corner is a tough job in a passing league if all the observers are going to dwell on it every time your man catches a ball. He played two straight years opposite a guy who had a reputation has a blanket so he had QBs looking his way more often than not. I think the fact that we didn't seem him get constantly picked on is a compliment.
-
Yeah, there are some backwoods places but SC in general gets a bad rap. Greenville actually has a lot of industry so there's a pretty high amount of upper-middle class people. A lot of BMW/Michelin employees running around.dnc said:

In this thread: Small southern town superiority guys

I'm pretty sure South Carolina is the least educated state. Something like the lowest percentage of high school graduates fwiw.

I think the Boeing love may explain the sand in the vag swipe at the state. As others have pointed out, it's actually a pretty cool place. No one mentioned Hilton Head or Charleston, but both are also great places to visit, for different reasons.nihilistdawg said:

The Historic District of Charleston is quintessential Southern Colonial, lots of history, beautiful homes, good restaurants, even the nations oldest live performance theater. Hilton Head is more a vacation retreat, with killer golf courses and such. It's also close to Savannah, GA, basically across the river. Savannah's historic district is pretty cool too, though it's not quite Charleston. Lots of charm and history in the area, one just has to remove the typical west coast passive aggressive bigotry towards the south to see it. -

Charleston rocks. There is nothing in the country that bundles history, charm and lights out 18th century architecture like Charleston. Plenty to do as well.
Love South Carolina. The stretch between Charleston and Savannah (were I live) is pretty cool. Progressive anti-South bigots need not come.
If you haven't been there....go. -

Ducre is going to run a sub 4 dash like Trufant last year...but Trufant was a good corner.
