If the UW offense doesn't average

Who will be responsible to intervene?

They won't.
-
Byron Murphy
-
Have we averaged 30 points for the last 2 years? If we average 28 that would be great improvement

5 star QB
Stable of RB's (all can play, McGrew will be lethal as a pass Catcher)
WR finally has talent (Puka will play, Fuller will ball out)
Elite at the TE position
OL has loads of experience (only one weakness) -
I really want to dream with you on Skinny, just can't though.jecornel said:5 star QB

I’m past LIPO mode with Pete’s offensive system. I’m the biggest Browning hater ever but there’s zero excuse to how bad we were on offense last year. J smitty had a better offense with shit talent at Osu

- (cue X-files music) I want to believe about skinny but we'll see

- much better wide receiver play, tight end play because reasons. -
Valid and quality poonts here. I especially liked your “reasons” for wr/te improvements.animate said:- (cue X-files music) I want to believe about skinny but we'll see

Normally I charge for such comprehensive and in depth analysis ... But I love this community so much that I offer it for free. You is welcome.dirtysouwfdawg said:

One question, can Eason throw the bubble screen?
-
Anything under 30 is shit. Anything under 35 is still underwhelming. If Eason sucks then this offense is eternally hopeless.FirePete said:Have we averaged 30 points for the last 2 years? If we average 28 that would be great improvement

It's year 6. Whatever excuses you can make for why the offense isn't scoring 30+ are Petermen's to own. The end.
-
No more dreaming, it's time for reality. Pete needs to get it done. Eason will be good if the coaches don't fuck it up.GrundleStiltzkin said:

There no good reason why Skinny shouldn't be at least solid this season.jecornel said:

I don't see it with Ahmed but as always happy to be wrong. -
My current expectation is that we will be underwhelmed by Skinny overall but at least we will have a downfield passing game which will open things up for Ahmed. I think we will see less long sustained drives from not having Gaskin to move the chains EVERY tim we are on 3rd but we will have more long plays. i.e. Higher scoring success rate but more variance of first down plays.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Red zone offense has been atrocious
Started against Auburn and got worse from there
Might as well try to score from outside the red zone -
I can't remember which 2018 replay it was, maybe one of the Utahs: Browning hits Fuller or Bacchanalia down inside the 20 or better. Proceeds to take an chintentional grounding, a sack and -1 dump off to MMFG. Punt from the 50. FML.RaceBannon said:Red zone offense has been atrocious

How long can one hold out hope for Salvon he was suppose to be this freak athlete but so far he really hasn’t gown much I know Gascan ran it 2000 times last year but also was odd that he ran it so much and it didn’t feel like we used Salvon much but when he did come in he tried to be like Gascan and didn’t look grest

The dropoff from Gaskin to whoever replaces him is going to have a larger negative effect on the offense than anticipated.GrundleStiltzkin said:

The increase from Browning to Skinny will be nice but non mobile QB saviors wont save the offensive scheme.
The WRs are all still jags that mostly suck until proven otherwise.
The TE play will be good but continue to be under utilized.
The OL will do its standard solid play.
Offense improves marginally. 32 ppg.... maybe a bit more if OUR? kicker isn't some random mellophone player from the band again. -
Without MMFG how many games would we have won last year? 8?

You kicked my ass in the circle jerk tournament but I will kick your ass about Ahmed!GrundleStiltzkin said:

It's a fair poont. But Browning was trending way down. He only threw 3 TDs in the last four games I believe.Gladstone said:Without MMFG how many games would we have won last year? 8?
The oline will be better this year.
The coaching staff has zero excuses this year.

Well, for all the Ahmed haters, I said out of high school he should play DB. I got a big fuck you from many of you.
Now, few care for him as a RB.
-
You'd still be wrong. He's not a great every down back, but he's still a valuable offensive weapon. I've never seen anything from him that says he'd be contributing as a DB.jecornel said:Well, for all the Ahmed haters, I said out of high school he should play DB. If we don't it's on Jen Cohen.
She takes credit for all the good things happening. (Hiring Petersen, Rowboat/diamondDawg dominance, tits, Hopkins, womens rugby, etc.)
Needs to start taking credit for the bad like offensive production, womens shootyhoops, short distance sprints...
