Can't tell if you're being sarkastic, as either way you could possibly be making a legit point.backthepack said:It’s almost like if you can be a legit all-pac 12 player at WR and you’re already roughly 6”2.5 210 your ceiling is higher at LBer.

Don’t know if it was mentioned but Jalen did fall 7 spots to 38 which moves him a little too far from 5 star for my liking.
I’m not usually a conspiracy theory guy but come on. -

Last one for us was an All American in his position. Just saying taking them is not bad we do need to redshirt them. Kills me that BBK could have RSStrongArmCobra said:Sawyer is a big bodied WR. We're not in the business of taking a bunch of undersized linebackers who will struggle to maintain weight at 220. Bruener is enough in that regard. It is what it is.

It's almost like our past WR recruiting fucked us years down the line, because recruiting results don't bear fruit instantly.PostGameOrangeSlices said:
LB recruiting was fine last year and LBs are not really the problem in our system unless you consider buck/de LBNEsnake12 said:
The hope was that he plays LB because we didn’t want him taking a WR spot away from a guy like LVBS.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Sawyer has always been a fucking WR you autistic pieces of shit. He was recruited by the WR coach, says he wants to play WR, and his best film by FAR is at WR.

When one position is being recruited really well (WR), another not so well (LB), and you get a kid who can play both... you hope that he ends up playing at the position you’re struggling to fill with high end talent
WR leaves a lot to be desired. -
Other position groups are perfoming better relative to rankings (like LBs)FremontTroll said:

Yeah and when Myles Bryant is 1st-team All-Conference for us this season that means we should take more 5'8 DB's right? No.FirePete said:

He was recruited as a WR. He puts up huge numbers at WR. He wants to play WR. He’s a WR unless he can’t crack the depth. -
Sawyer has always been a WR until he isn't. It just seems like we're planning on taking two more WRs this year, so a lot of us have assumed he eventually gets moved to defense since he's the only one who could play both.
