Pete has a pretty damn good track record of every two-way recruit ending up at his best position. Can you name any player Pete has put at the wrong position?backthepack said:We took him at WR... fuck
Whether Sawyer ends up a WR or an ILB, I'm pretty confident it'll be the right spot.
Trey Lowe -
Disagree on both.TTJ said:

Draco isn't going to see playing time at TE or DL any time soon. Who knows or cares where he ends up. As for Trey, are you suggesting he get moved to RB? I don't see any immediate benefit there, especially since I think he's poised to become a damn fine slot receiver for us. I'm not opposed to getting him carries, so I think WR utilizes his versatility better. -
Draco is light years away from PT at DL. And he’ll be overtaken by a bunch of true frosh soon too. WTE has proven a very important role in our offense, and there’s currently only one true WTE on the roster. Over the last three years, Pete’s offense has performed best with two WTEs on the field at the same time. Moving Draco is an absolute no-brainer, IMO.
Trey is fine at WR, I guess, if 5’7” benchwarmers are your jam. The WR depth chart is super crowded, though, with bigger targets who can go up and catch contested balls. At RB, Trey could have an immediate 3rd down role. Trey also runs better in traffic than any back currently on roster (at least until Davis arrives). -
Lot of speculation here. Lowe is a worse McGrew...not every person on the DL is going to be a starter. Some people are just fine rotating in game their RS Junior and Senior seasons.TTJ said:Draco is light years away from PT at DL. And he’ll be overtaken by a bunch of true frosh soon too. Draco needs to put some weight in that ass before he seems the field
-
Agreed. I always thought he was going to be a great scatback. We'll see how he's used before I pass judgement though.TTJ said:Draco is light years away from PT at DL. Bold statement, I know. -

I don't think Bruener will get an offer at this point. I feel like Gregory's white LB will end up being Nick Herbig.UDubHusky23 said:
Might need to make room for one more in Carson Bruener... knowing Gregory he'll need to take a white lbhuskyhooligan said:I think his size is legit. From the video I posted a couple weeks ago, him running through the hole he was clearly one of the bigger guys on the field. Super stoked. I think this kid has intangibles that maybe dont translate to film or numbers. Hope he commits soon, mostly because commitments are like a drug and I need a fix! Also because I think we can only take so many more white guys.

That's about the quota. Of course unless there are meaty badass linemen to be had. -
Only singling out my incorrect takes, I see how it is.dnc said:

Didn't even realize they were both yours, just saw a chance to have some fun with a couple of obvious bump candidates.FKA_Mousecop said:

Some poster on DM says Sawyer tore his ACL during a scrimmage yesterday.
-
Rumor is Racanelli tore his ACL at practice and will miss his entire senior season. That's shitty. I really wanted go see what kind of stats this kid would put up as a senior
-
I'm hearing Racanelli tore his ACL
-
A friend in Walla Walla has heard that a Husky recruit tore an ACL
Stay tuned -
Can we still drop him for Scott?
Does this injury guarantee a move to LB? -
Awful news. I’m sure he’ll recover fine, but losing his senior season is something he won’t be able to replace for the rest of his life
-
Need our resident ACL surgery expert in here. @NeGgaPlEaSe
-
screenshot from The Columbian....he tore it in June. UW Medical Center will do the surgery.
-
Shit sucks, but at least he already has his scholarship lined up
Will miss what probably would have been an awesome year, but he may have missed 4-6 if it was a year earlier -
waste of a skolly

No one is even mentioning Racanelli even though his film is transcendent.
I don’t wanna believe in jinxing people, but MAN. -
So...no more film study?LaMichael_Corleone said:PostGameOrangeSlices said:No one is even mentioning Racanelli even though his film is transcendent.

Racanelli will rehab and play and then in that first game against Oregon, you just fucking know that Papa Sewell will come flying out of the stands and go right for that knee.
-
PGOS meant transcendent in the context of exceeding physical limitations of the human body and therefore bound for injury.LaMichael_Corleone said:PostGameOrangeSlices said:No one is even mentioning Racanelli even though his film is transcendent.

You know- the way the great poets used it. -
-
There are schools that would drop an injured player, Mr. Smalls
Food for thought -
ACL injuries aren't as big a deal as they once were. Sucks he will miss his senior year but if he rehabs the way he should his knee will be ok. Kid still has a bright future ahead of him
-
Gray shirt him.
-
He’s not going to enroll for 12 months. He doesn’t need to be grayshirted. Miki Ah You wasn’t why would they do it to Sawyer?
