    Hard agree. Heat isn't un the same universe. Throw a bunch of huge names at a relatively weak film and profit. That's Heat.

    That scene is so triumphantly good that it saves all the dragging Wayne Groe storyline.
    This is arguably the greatest gun fight in movie history. Every time I'm on this street in Downtown LA, I feel like I'm gonna get mowed down by bank robbers.

    My single AR looks just like that one except for the legal 16" barrel. And that was purposeful.

    Agree with both of you. This scene redefined how gritty and real you could make a gunfight. Mesmerizing.

    Hell of a volley. I'm a little biased because I had a business teacher in the late 90s who, every time he wanted the class to quiet down, would say "Silence...of the lambs".

    I hated that flick for years before I ever saw it.

    Still shudder more at that teacher's voice than Lector's.
