I get all the “not everyone on staff has to be a recruiter” and that “TE is a hard position to recruit” and all the feasible and legit excuses, but if Scott Huff isn’t just recruiting well HE’S DOMINATING ALMOST EVERYTHING HE TOUCHES, and Junior Adams who looks half asleep in every picture can get Jalen, we can get someone who’s just a littleeeeeeeeee bit better than Paopao right?
No one is saying we need Tosh Lupoi or Nevin Shapiro as the TE coach but do you REALLY think Dev, Redman, & Cade for that matter aren’t going to develop as well in Pete’s system just because Paopao is gone? -

PaoPao has the best track record of development on the staff outside maybe Lake and quite honestly I'd probably rank PaoPao's development first.LaMichael_Corleone said:I get all the “not everyone on staff has to be a recruiter” and that “TE is a hard position to recruit” and all the feasible and legit excuses, but if Scott Huff isn’t just recruiting well HE’S DOMINATING ALMOST EVERYTHING HE TOUCHES, and Junior Adams who looks half asleep in every picture can get Jalen, we can get someone who’s just a littleeeeeeeeee bit better than Paopao right?

So yes, I find it unlikely that anyone else is going to come in here and develop kids as well as PaoPao has.
I'd love to hear a list of suggestions. -
Hey that is an improvement for ya, last time you thought Bothell was in Easter Washingtondnc said:
19 1/2 hour drive to Seattle. 23 to Happy Valley.
And it's not even really about the much more rugged terrain heading westbound. Seattle is really only 200 miles closer to Denver.
I had no clue. -

No one is questioning paopao coaching. Dude is getting guys drafted. -

I love the Culp, Otton, Bryant were "layups" so they don't count line.
His job is to get the best players in. If he wasn't taking these "layups" you'd be bitching about wasting resources on guys we have no shot with.
Washington historically produces legit TEs and they usually come to UW whether we're bad or good.
Perfect.

Denver is almost in the middle of the cuntry

It is a terrible loss when UW has way more to sell a TE than Penn State does. They don't do shit with their TE's in their scheme, they don't put TE's in the league, and they don't recruit elite QB's. So how the fuck does Paopao get beat by them?CallMeBigErn said: -

ballz knows if a recruit has had diarrhea in the last 30 days, knows where a recruit's parent's have spent their 20th wedding anniversary ... he knows who mike gesicki is.Gladstone said: -
He’s played one year in the NFL. He was really good at Penn State.NorwegianHusky said: -
TE is the lowest performance expectation position of rookies. The numbers are historically low across the board for all rookies.RoadDawg55 said:
The all-time greats were pretty mediocre year 1. It's a hard position. -
George Kittle was the best TE in the league as a rookie.Doogles said:

He was okay at Penn State. He had a really good OC who got him the ball.RoadDawg55 said: -
Is that allowed?NorwegianHusky said: -
By the NCAA? Yes. By Pete? No.RaceBannon said: -
Sad to see that retarded nfl sees move value in our? TE than our coaching staff

If Kirby Moore can help Tedford’s WR and recruit Jalen Cropper away from Utah, Arizona, and Oregon Stte to Fresno State, I guarantee he can get TE’s to show up to practice and do whatever Pete wants them to do. How was Paopao when he was developing ASJ the last two years he was here? Shitty. Then Pete comes in and now he’s the Nick Saban of DB’s?
-
Kittle has a good, but not huge rookie year before busting out in year 2
-
Nice reach back to 2013 to try and pin a bad TE on PaopaoLaMichael_Corleone said:If Kirby Moore can help Tedford’s WR and recruit Jalen Cropper away from Utah, Arizona, and Oregon Stte to Fresno State, I guarantee he can get TE’s to show up to practice and do whatever Pete wants them to do. If you have to go all the way back to 2013 to prove an assistant sucks he doesn’t suck.LaMichael_Corleone said:If Kirby Moore can help Tedford’s WR and recruit Jalen Cropper away from Utah, Arizona, and Oregon Stte to Fresno State, I guarantee he can get TE’s to show up to practice and do whatever Pete wants them to do. Kittle didn't break out until year 2. And even if he broke out as a rookie, it would've been more the exception than a regular occurrence.NorwegianHusky said: -
Paopao isn’t an amazing recruiter, but if your job is develop really good TE’s, he has done it. You don’t make coaching moves just to make moves.
We have at least 2 NFL TE’s on the roster right now and they also have gotten progressively better, or at least drafted higher the past few years.
