Fuck, I remember going to the SC game as a student in Gilbys first year and vociferously lamenting the fact that we didn't have 1 fucking player from that year's recruiting class who USC even wanted (I wasn't really counting Jon Lyon because he fucking sucked and doubted the validity of the supposed offer).UWhuskytskeet said:Remember when we just assumed these guys would go to USC?
We were getting plungered, I was sitting with sun in my eyes, drunk starting to border hungover, and pondering lighting myself on fire so I didn't have to make the parched walk of shame uphill to 17th. When some jersey skamk likely being passed around the team start getting in my face and bragging that she was REALLY good friends with Robert Lewis and telling me I'm wrong because he had a usc offer (as if 1 player out of 20 whatever really fucking matters). I was miserable at that point and didn't give a shit, so I began to laugh in her face and tell her that she was right... he DID have an offer. Until USC pulled it (injury concerns iirc) and he decided to go to UW.
I guess being so inebriated I didn't realize at first just how fucking pathetic it was until the words came out of my mouth, that essentially we? had fallen to the point of getting bent over by consistently by a team and picking from their leftovers.
I sulked for the remainder of the game. It may have gotten windy and caused my eyes to water. How naive to think it couldn't get much worse. If I wouldve known the true extent, 81% chance I would have ended it all. FYFMFE. -
I would hate you so much less if you had an avatarfosterworth said:“Sam (Huard) is like my brother”, he explained regarding the future Husky QB, “I went and spent the night at his house.” - from roOf's article
Huard should have Rome and Troy over for a (toga-themed?) sleepover next. -
Holle Fuck!!! I'm up here in Richland, WA visiting my two dads, going back to the mean streets of Vegas tomorrow. I see we get a fucking stud WR croot! Allah is good

I'll have you know that my avatar is not the default. And it answers for me the question of if I will change it further.Swaye said:

I mean, I said possibly.Gladstone said:
Jalen isn’t redshirting lolDoogCourics said:
Agreed. And it works because Jalen will possibly be a RS with all the WR talent that has come in the last two years, but will be ready to light it up the following year when Huard steps into the starting role as a true frosh.Gladstone said:I gave @Doogles shit for saying Huard was the most important recruit in our history. But he made a great point and we’re already seeing the early fruits of that. A 2021 QB recruiting 2020 WR is unprecedented. On a macro level having a surefire homegrown superstar already committed, who isn’t going to succumb to WA 5 star sickness we’ve seen over the years from so many, is a total game changer.
Hyped.
These two are going to break records together. -
Jesus— let’s not pretend St. Louis in Honolulu is off the beaten path for football recruiting. I mean come on.jhfstyle24 said:
Jake Browning was a QB who in high school played with a coach who 3 years later was a D1 OC and thus broke all the records that gave him the attention WC recruits typically fail to receive. It's rare that HS quarterbacks get that level of coaching/scheme and so of course Browning stood out. He should have been ranked really high.LaMichael_Corleone said:
Jake Browning is ranked higher than Faatui Tuitele.CallMeBigErn said:
Huard is #1.Beno4Life said:WE JUST GOT JALEN FUCKING MCMILLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’s the highest-ranked recruit in the Pete era. Who gives a flying fuck about defensive recruits and Dennis’ hot take from January on the fired Western Kentucky OC and former App St WR coach?
LET’S DOOG IT UP FOR ONCE IN THIS 2020 CLASS!
Faatui Tuitele is a DT from Hawai'i who had brutal upper body injuries his last 2 high school seasons, and didn't even play on the continental US.
The fact that Tuitele is ranked above a low 3 star really speaks to his talent, ability and drive. To be fair, he played for a powerhouse, but the point still stands. This is a really stupid argument. -
Update from the ND bored? @tomloycristobaldawg?

I haven't watched any of his film because I'd rather beat off to mechanical watches, but, for the pro TBSers out there, how does Jalen McMillan compare to Kyle Ford?
If you had the option to pick one do you take Ford over Jalen?
I always thought WR is pretty stacked with the inevitable emergence of Osbourne, Spiker, Lowe, and Puka now on campus.
I feel like the midget log jam has been broken with Adams the new sheriff in town and it's likely Ford would have redshirted with his injury. -

Even if he's not likely starting right away, I got a feeling that at the very least McMillan might get a lot of downfield looks during his freshman season. Like imagine how they've used Quinten Pounds, but if he was actually good at football and not going to tear his ACL. I foresee 23 catches for 440 yards and 4 TDs.
