Spain played well. I reckon they would beat a few of the teams that made the quarters. USA actually played better then they are getting credit for. Created a lot of chances, but seemed a bit nervy in front of net. Just like France did against Brazil. I think we would have scored eventually had the second PK not been called (soft PK and VAR is shit). The goal we gave up was inexcusable. That’s something they teach five year olds. You always kick it upfield unless the defender has like twenty yards of space. Other than that we kept a talented team quiet and played well enough to score three or four. Spain had to resort to tactical fouling to have a chance. I still like our chances, but the European teams have really benefited from the major clubs over there starting to fund their women’s teams. When Barca gets more of their guys? in there, watch out for Spain in the future.

Also wanted to say that Brazil was a joke and they shouldn’t be allowed to wear the five stars on their crest (each star represents one of the men’s world cup wins).
