Kearse

Kudos to him going from owen12 to getting a Super Bowl ring. He's a fucking football player. Too bad he didn't have the right coaches at the UW to make him more successful at the college level. He's definitely worked his ass off and it has paid dividends for him and the Hawks.

Free Pub!!

Sark needed more bullets

His touchdown catch and run was badass, one of the more impressive plays I've seen this year.

That's the kind of shit you expect from Kearse with an unexplainable drop or two mixed in at random times. He's a hell of a talented receiver and should have cemented himself as a guy that belongs in an NFL rotation. I have to admit I went 110% doog in front of all my friends after that play. None of the fucks even knew who he was.SteveInShelton said:His touchdown catch and run was badass, one of the more impressive plays I've seen this year.
Oh yeah...can't buy that kind of free pub. What a cool day to be a dawg.

Kearse should get an endorsement contract for whoever gave him Lasik. After that he stopped dropping passes and solidified himself as an NFL wr.

but seriously though, the minute rice tore his ACL the hawks immediately upgraded. #undrafted #pc/js

I can only think of a couple drops Kearse had all year. A healthy Rice is probably better than Kearse, but Rice hasn't really been healthy since he joined the Seahawks. Factor in Rice's salary and it's an easy decision. Kearse could be featured even more next year, assuming Tate leaves in free agency. Some dumb team will throw a lot of money at Tate.
-
if tate goes to the right team he will be effective. A team where he can be the #3 target and do some other stuff as well is a good fit, but if a team like the jets pays him it's a horrible investment, a good CB pretty much neutralizes him. He was a good player for the hawks nonethelessRoadDawg55 said:I can only think of a couple drops Kearse had all year. Pretty much agree. His best attribute is that he is really hard to tackle, but he's been going down easier lately. His punt returning hasn't been as good as it was earlier in the season as well, granted that could be more of a blocking thing. I'm pretty surprised Tate didn't have more catches with Harvin and Baldwin out there a good portion of the game.dhdawg said:

Funny how many Dawg fans now like Kearse. He could not get much love from many fans while he was a Husky player, mostly due to his drops, while forgetting many great plays.
His LASIK surgery seems to have made a huge difference. Imagine him playing with bad eyes and now seeing the change. He ought to do a commercial. Haha -

Every time he mentioned the LASIK in an interview all I heard was "I had to play for both Tyroone and Sark - do the math"

Kearse was a Jekyll and Hyde player at UW. He could be really, really good, and then there were the unbelievable drops. Happy for him, the Hawks and UW that he's working out.
His biggest problem was coaching and development. His build is radically different now. Way more muscle. (Hi, Ivan you POS.) He's also way more of a bad ass today.
He still has bad habits that show up from time-to-time that were picked up in the UW coaching vacuum. (For instance, he just stopped running a route in the SF game that could have been a completion?) -
Kearse along with others proves that Dude Brah had more talent than 0-12. When idiot doogs would quote 0-12 we'd point out all the talent he inherited. Did he inherit a Rose Bowl team? No he didn't but if you had hired an established coach that team wins 8 games year one. Shit if Dude Brah wasn't "learning" on the job that team wins 8 games as he personally cost us three games.
Coaching matters, we've all said that. I don't even remember Doug Baldwin at all in college or for that matter Richard Sherman. Schneider finds the Seahawks version of OKG's and Carroll with his staff coaches them up.
