I've seen way too many people on the left use the lack of Trump's returns as evidence that he's hiding something illegal. That's fucking stupid, and it distracts from the real reason that people want to see every POTUS release their tax returns - fucking transparency.
There needs to be a law that every member of Congress and the President, at a minimum, should be required to publicly release their tax returns. If you have conflicts of interest that may steer the legislation you pursue, I want to fucking hear about it. This should be a slam dunk bipartisan position. -
