    Met both Jesse and Biden in Iowa the summer of 87. Biden would have won the nomination that year but for his plagiarism implosion. Still can't believe Dukakis won the nomination that go around. Awful candidate.

    I was a King County Jackson delegate. The machine crushed all opposition and they went with Dukakis

    Our little band of Jackson campaigners who had been there since day 1 were not pleased. We were treated as second class citizens at the state convention

    Rats were a lot like the GOP. Carter was an outsider, but the rest of their nominees were a lot like the GOPs. Bush, Dole, McCain, Romney. Humphrey, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore.

    for all the conspiracy folks out there, in Penthouse they ran a series of articles (I never looked at the pix or read any letters, honest) on the Trilateral commission and how they choose Carter to be President. Took him from no where then when Carter brought in his own people turned on him. Carter just did not no how to play the game and was destined to lose the next election.


    I wonder if the trilateral commission created the Iran hostage situation?
