He's not coming back. Take your god damn screenshot.

I never said he was. It’s back on the table now though.GreenRiverGatorz said:He's not coming back. Take your god damn screenshot.

This sounds like something Eklund would say.backthepack said:

If the feedback that you're getting is that you're likely a mid 2nd round pick at best ... and there isn't guaranteed $$$ behind that ... why wouldn't you go back to school and work on the things that you need to work on for the pro game and giving yourself an opportunity to be a better pick at some point in the future?
-
Do we even want J'raan Brooks?
-
There's plenty of precedent here at UW for people returning for their senior year and it working out (e.g., QPON, BROY), but the former was inconsistent and the latter injury-prone. You look at Nowell or IT and can make the argument they maxed or near-maxed their ncaa potential. You only have so many years in your prime. And there's injury risk. And he might improve but his numbers might dip with the cavalry of Stewart, McDaniels and others coming in.Tequilla said:If the feedback that you're getting is that you're likely a mid 2nd round pick at best ... and there isn't guaranteed $$$ behind that ... why wouldn't you go back to school and work on the things that you need to work on for the pro game and giving yourself an opportunity to be a better pick at some point in the future?
I'd love for him to stay. It makes sense for him to go. -
It has nothing to do with that. Nowell heard from BTP that Jaden didn't want to come here if Nowell stayed. So he played it off like he was going to the draft. Now that Jaden has signed his letter of intent, he's going to come back. He's waiting until it gets announced for him to announce.Tequilla said:If the feedback that you're getting is that you're likely a mid 2nd round pick at best ... and there isn't guaranteed $$$ behind that ... why wouldn't you go back to school and work on the things that you need to work on for the pro game and giving yourself an opportunity to be a better pick at some point in the future?

He’s good he can play he was just in a joke of a situation at SC. He’s a stretch 4. -
He was a good recruit and we would take him because we still need bigs. But call a spade a spade, he was shit his freshman year. Sure Boatwright and Rakocevic were obviously taking the bulk of his minutes, but he could barely see the floor despite being one of just four forwards on the team. If he was any good last year he would've played his way to more than 8 MPG.backthepack said:

Bey played about that and Boatwright/Rakocevic are NBA players. He wasn’t physically ready to bang last year. He’ll be a good player he’s already better than Hameir.GreenRiverGatorz said:

I hate Hamier as much as the next guy, but there's absolutely nothing to suggest that Brooks is better than him right now.backthepack said:

Hameir is good defensively that’s why he plays. Jraan can get his game off at all three levels, he’s really good offensively.GreenRiverGatorz said:

FYI Kentucky would have to agree to let Quade get a waiver to play early, they won’t let it happen. Fuck that greasy scumbag Calipari.
