Smacked the rockets without Harden tonight.

    5-2

I'm excited for them to finish somewhere between 6-8 and then lose in the first round in 5.

Who cares? The blazers aren’t going to do anything in the playoffs anyways.

MJ and Lebron won their first championships at 28 years old. Guess how old Dame Lillard is?

Lots of criticism of CJ. Dame potentially getting fed up.

Losing keeps up you wonder if Stotts might be selling the couch before the all star break.

I always enjoy GMs fucking up and firing the coach like it’s his fault they gave Evan Turner a huge contract.
This is interesting. Yes he's overpaid but running the bench and then getting the 10 pts down the stretch to put game 7 away...I mean he's not a scorer and wasn't acquired to score. You need 8+ assists which he's getting.

Stotts’ Blazers are a Good regular season team. They have shooters and can guard non playoff teams well. They can beat good teams on any given night. But come playoffs, their lack of physicality makes good matchups for almost all of their prospective opponents.

Portland had Drexler when they went big at a time when you needed a big, to compliment him. 8 years later Jordan won his first title

Durant was 135 pounds with one year of college. Oden, King of the Vikings, was the next big thing

Jordan I can understand, but damn... imagine them two on the floor together.

Oden is a bullshit excuse. A lot of people in upper management knew about Oden's foot problems. There were people in the organization that told Prichard that Oden was damaged goods, and he picked him anyways.
Embid looks like a great pick because the dice fell in Philly's favor.

Oden was Embid on Steroids. It's revisionist history to the max to say Durant was easily a slam dunk over Oden.

Edit: You could argue Embids injuries were even a bigger red flag than Odens.
There was a large contingent that felt Durant was far better than Oden based on early hoops analytics.

I was all in on Durant, as a Sonics fan i was thrilled when Portland took Oden.

And Oden didn't have Embiid's shooting or passing ability. He was a massive force in the middle but much more of an old school center than a new school guy like Embiid.
What's lost here is that the blazers have had their souls crushed by Shaq so many times they will never pass on a gargantuan center.
Those who ignore the Sam Bowie pick are destined to repeat it.
    Jerome Kersey, Duckworth, Sheed.

Blazer fans have always wanted a team that will fuck you up while winning it all.

Durant looked like he would get broken in half by the all star break.
How's that worked out for them?
You won't be laughing at the end of this season.

    LOL

Portland is a .500 team in the west. That’s the problem. They can go 19-5 against the East, but if they can’t win consistently in the West, they aren’t going anywhere come playoff time.

    LOL

Please predict a quook conference championship.

So the fuck what? Destroyed the 6th seed that no one wanted to face with Paul George and then beat the 2 seed that had home court and the best center in the NBA and a bunch young players the Lakers were too fucking stupid to draft.

All 4 teams deserve to talk shit. Raptors made the trade. Bucks surrounded giannis with some guys, dubs nutted up and blazers broke through without their second best player

    Winners win

Btw that comment wasn't really doing anything other than pointing out the Lakers are in worse shape than Portland atm. Stability has helped the organization

Your KD/Steph nonsense has disqualified you from talking authoritatively about anything NBA now and forever. Sorry bud.

    What is exactly the nonsense?

You want me to play the you have an unnatural hatred for the Warriors given your living location?

Steph is the most efficient scoring guard in the history of the game ... he's absolutely changed the game. It's not even really a debatable item.

As for KD, you say that he sold out and I say that he joined a team that played pure basketball and left the joke that is Westbrook ... not sure what else there is to talk about there.

But if you want to advance that Dame is superior to Curry narrative ... go ahead. Few will agree with you on the whole. This is pure recency bias.
Recency bias like the upcoming WC fucking finals?

He'll ride GS hard because he's a fucktard so I hope Portland makes it close so he has to break out the Random Excuse Generator.

    I know. Truly I do.

But 16-1 isn't really going to change anything now or right the course of Lakeshow.

It's more intelligent to be humbled and observe. LA (I think) thought they'd at least make the playoffa after getting LeBron. They've been embarrassing.

Lakers really, really fucking needed CJ this year.

Gonna guess Durant comes back at less than 100% and fucks up the rhythm allowing this one to go six. PDX splits the first two in Oakland, maybe even goes up 2-1 before reality sets in.

It’s a bad contract. He’s shooting 23%, averaging 2 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the playoffs.

He had a good game at the perfect time but that game wasn’t worth $70 million.

Portland has exceeded every ones expectations. Even the King of the Bloozers.

Unfortunately for Blazer fan, CJ's stock has skyrocketed and both He and Dame will still be looking to move in the next 2 years.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Portland steal game 2. But this series more than likely goes 5 with 6 being an outlier.
