He did come up with The Wheel of Carpet Samples. That was pretty funny.

I used to love Letterman, but he ceased being funny at all back in 1994. Conan has been using his "needy" humor forever. Kilborn was hilarious in his 3-4 years, but his faux, intimate style was prob going to age quickly. Fallon is a hyperactive child. Leno is simply a standup act...if his writers suck, so will he. Kimmel is a perv, about a 1/3 of what he does is funny - he's prob the best still working - he does appear to be getting better in time with his reframing ability. I rarely watch TV anymore, I've nearly replaced it with youtube, so I only see clips of this talkshow stuff now.

Craig Ferguson is pretty funny.
Usually can't stay up that late though and the show is certainly not DVR worthy. -
Fallon's musical stuff is great as are his impressions. He's not so funny when he actually has to talk.
