Browning is so full of shit. He's just a shitty qb who is trying to make a case that he should be drafted because he now learned how to throw a ball. fuck that guy.

I think it’s probably a puff piece, but if his arm really is remarkably stronger, we need to change things.

Although it may have helped a few plays, I don't think a stronger arm would have won more games. Better decision making, which he lacked, that would have won more games. Doesn't talk about that. Film doesn't lie.

Told Mrs. Courics about this article. Her response:
“Good, he’s going to need that arm strength to throw the extra 15 yards after he panicks in the pocket and runs backwards. He could have used that in college.”
I guess his father didn't love him enough to tell him that either.
My junior high warmup consisted of planting our feet forward like shooting a free throw, forcing us to exaggerate a twist in order to throw. I highly doubt Browning was oblivious to using his lower body with all the advanced coaching he's received since a kid.
Focusing on technique is great, but if it's forgotten off the practice field and not applied in a game it's useless.
We'll see if 3 months of drills are enough to make his more powerful movement second nature.
Quite honestly, I'm rooting for the kid. It's a serious indictment on the staff for not switching it up earlier if he truly improves.
Awesome that he is learning basic mechanics after 8 years of high school and college under his belt. It wasn't until well after my long luxurious high school baseball career that I learned you needed to step with the opposite foot you threw with.

Disagree, its an indictment on him. He didn't put the work in.

Jesus Christ.
It wasn't.
