If history teaches us anything on the subject, it's that it's a waste of time to impeach if you don't have the votes in the Senate. When Barry went to see Nixon in Aug '74 he new a Senate conviction was likely. As much as I rooted for BJ conviction in 1998 it probably wasn't a wise move politically.

Absolutely. Politically it would be much smarter just to roll the cards out one by one. It seems unlikely that new information, as it comes out, is going to make Daddy look better.YellowSnow said:If history teaches us anything on the subject, it's that it's a waste of time to impeach if you don't have the votes in the Senate. Yes keep it coming. Trump is getting shredded by this stuff. Don't stop

How bad is Mueller that after 2 years and a full report stuff still needs to come out? When will Schiff release his PROOF?

Yeah I know but I need the secret decoder ring to see where Muelller said there was collusion because no one thinks he did say that other than Team Hondo
I think Trump did fine considering the array of bullshit that was brought against him. He's a contractor and we tend to blow off steam and say shit when attacked. Good think thoughts aren't a crime yet.
Trump fired Comey. If its obstruction then fucking indict him

Not being indicted is the new test for admirable behavior. What standards?RaceBannon said:Yeah I know but I need the secret decoder ring to see where Muelller said there was collusion because no one thinks he did say that other than Team Hondo

(AllPolitics, December 20) -- In the wake of the House of Representatives' approval of two articles of impeachment, Bill Clinton's approval rating has jumped 10 points to 73 percent, the latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll shows.
That's not only an all-time high for Clinton, it also beats the highest approval rating President Ronald Reagan ever had.
At the same time, the number of Americans with an unfavorable view of the Republican Party has jumped 10 points; less than a third of the country now has a favorable view of the GOP.
Despite concerns that public calls for Clinton's resignation would rise after his impeachment, the number of Americans who want Clinton to resign has remained statistically unchanged. Only 30 percent want Clinton to resign; only 29 percent want the Senate to convict Clinton and remove him from office.
The poll, released Sunday, also shows that 35 percent approve of the House's decision to impeach the president.
Interviews with 852 adult Americans were conducted December 19-20, after the House of Representatives voted to impeach Clinton. -
Its actually a test and an old one for the ability to accuse someone of committing a crimeHHusky said:

GOP maintained control of the house after 1998. But they had a lackluster showing and lost 4 seats.RaceBannon said:
