Bernie Sanders’s Fox News town hall wasn’t a debate, he won anyway

Make contributing to Medical Savings Accounts mandatory just like Social Security. Make the contributions tax free and allow for the money to carry over each year. Let people use that money to pay for their day to day medical expenses and cover all major medical expenses with what you're advocating. It would introduce free market principals into the healthcare business.YellowSnow said:
I have a dream that some day we can do away with all employer based health plans and only have to buy coverage to insure against catastrophic loss like the way most other insurance works.MikeDamone said:

You have three choices but you only get two. Low cost, Convenience, quality. I would prefer quality and convenience. You can't get all three and the certainly the government won't deliver. I have family that lives in Canada, the healthcare stories are horrifying.2001400ex said:

Bernie has spent years now telling socialist wannabe's that healthcare will be "free". That a college education will be "free". But in your mind it is somehow Trump who is lying?2001400ex said:Sanders was sincere and open. When asked about President Donald Trump, he spoke with emotion about how he hoped everyone could agree a “pathological liar” should not be president;
One would have thought that you democrats would have learned your lessons when you were told you could keep your doctors and your insurance, or that Benghazi was based off of a video and that Hillary had nothing to hide when she destroyed 33K emails, two computers and 7 cell phones but it is clear you have learned nothing from your candidates nor do you understand the glass houses thingy.
I'm sure the government will "fix" the market this time though. -
The idea of tying insurance to your job is fucking stupid. More people would take risks and get better opportunities if they didn't have to depend on their job for insurance.YellowSnow said:

Back when I could purchase my insurance on the market I was very mobile and took advantage of that fact to take a lot of chances in my career that have paid off. There's no fucking way I could do that now.Pitchfork51 said:

Exactly. You shouldn't have to worry about insurance every time you need to make a career move. It's FS.Pitchfork51 said:

The other major problem is that every purchase it paid by insurance which is dumb. It's analogous to paying for oil changes with auto insurance.
