I'll let Swaye feature all the fancy watches, but seeing @nihilistdawg Steve Zissou avatar inspired me to detail a cheap favorite of my collection: The Vostok Amphibia.
This watch was worn by team Zissou in The life aquatic and is a perfect representation of the rag tag squad.

Here is a great article that goes into the history and detail about the watch: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/vostok-amphibia
If too lazy to click the link, essentially this watch was designed in the 60s to be the official Soviet Union military dive watch. They knew they couldn't compete with Swiss mechanisms, so they designed its water resistance around allowing pressure to compress a rubber seal. The deeper you go, the better it gets which is cool and totally something a vodka drunk Russian would commission.
Here's mine:

Not sure what this says on the case back, but Stalin approves.

All in all I bought it for 70 bucks from the Russian federation so I'm probably getting indicted for collusion any day. It's a fun watch to customize and has quite the cult following, but being a huge Life Aquatic fan I keep mine exactly like Bill's.

Gotta love the greasy Slavs and their slapdick engineering solutions.

That is a sweet talk piece! I love it!
And to be fair, I still have a couple Swatches I wore in like 1985. I stole them from rich kids gym lockers in my school. They bring back sweet sweet memories of theft and the time of my life where I saw my first muff in Revenge of the Nerds. Good times. -
