    Even with 7 game series the NHL playoffs can be really flukey; goalies get hot, puck luck in tight games.

    There are Hockey Gods. There is no basketball god.

    You will get embarrassed when you play the team with 5 all stars in their prime and your coach is doc rivers.

    Funny but true

    Take last year's conference finals. Everyone knew the Cavs and Warriors would win even when it got to Game 7 on the road. But it was great basketball. The highest level. If you love basketball its the NBA

    Apologies to the masonry kids playing brick ball in college because they aren't good enough to LEAVE for the NBA

    Flukey in the first two rounds, yes. There is a lot of parity in the league, but it's usually a team with superstars that wins and that's usually a high seed.

    I think the difference is that the talent is a lot more spread out and the salary cap era favors teams that draft well. A team like the Warriors is impossible in the NHL. I would know because the salary cap ruined my Avalanche when they had a loaded roster that featured several HoF players.

    I think the NBA sucks because it's turned in to nothing but launching 3-point shots. Not sure how that's entertaining. I want to see physically elite guys doing shit I could never dream of. I can dream of splashing a few threes in a row from 30 feet. Cannot fathom looking down at the rim. They need to push the link back by a foot.

    The Hou/GS game 7 was unwatchable but other than that sure.gif. Also the only entertainment in the Finals was watching JR Smith, JR Smith.
