Haener vs Eason would be a legit argument....

If Haener had gone in vs Cal and led us to a 14 point win.

    Now it's Eason or bust

You're defining a man's entire life based on one shitty afternoon in Berkeley when he was a freshman.

I think he’s defining his college career. We’ll give Haener a little more tim before we define his life.
    I stand corrected.

The coaching staff certainly didn't do any favors for Haener against Cal. Pete deserves blame and I hope he spent some time in front of a mirror from an offensive stand point this off season.

Yes, I hope he pulled some serious beach time.

All y'all should really watch some film of Eason to see what he was like in 2016.

Oof that scheme was fucking dog shit
So were his receivers and O-Line. This was right in the period where UGA's roster was gutted because half the players Richt recruited got arrested and kicked off the team (especially their 2013 class). Kirby hadn't gotten his elite recruiting classes in there yet.

5'7 Isaiah McKenzie was their best receiver. Chubb and Michel had their worst years rushing too
Watching that video, his receivers were fucking dogshit. 16 made a nice catch at the end to save the game but also dropped an easy TD earlier in the game.

His scheme was absolute garbage. Almost every throw was to a blanketed receiver. None of the candy throws we had in our offense this year. Those were mostly high difficulty throws. No wonder his completion percentage was low.

He did miss two easy touchdown throws, though, because he tried to laser them. His interception was also a shitty throw.

The talent is obvious. Hopefully Pete figures out what he can do and helps him out a little bit.

Haener had his chance and did as bad as possible. It was not clutch.
Haha. Come on buddy. That is a bad take.
