Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
People who are outraged or even give a fuck about what Sherman said.

If they knew what they were getting themselves into then the NFL wouldn't have lied to them about it. I seriously hope that helps.

Yeah, it's dangerous. They didn't know all the specific long-term risks because the NFL dragged their feet and withheld info. That's different.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Should the league pay out a multi trillion $ settlement to them? Next boxers will be suing casinos for the damage they got from boxing.CollegeDoog said:

No one is forced to play football. You choose to play football, you accept what comes along with it, which is hard hits and injuries. I'm not taking any sides here, but I'm sure these players aren't getting 'fucked' over all that much with all those millions in the bank, plus all the sponsorship dough they've raked in over the years that they wouldn't have earned were it not for playing in that league.allpurpleallgold said:The league just tried to fuck over broken former players so badly that a judge threw out the settlement. But Richard Sherman needs to respect the game.

Well, if they cared about the long term repercussions that much, they could have spent some of that cash pile and consulted a physician instead of just trusting the NFL, right? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that getting hit in the head repeatedly will have some long term negative effects. Maybe these guys didn't know about Muhammed Ali? But as usual it's a legal issue. Who said what and who didn't. And legalese will always prevail over common sense.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:
