From what little I know of the apparel world, Champion probably provided UW with the same design on several different colorways of T-shirts. Black, grey, SCO Duck green, etc. How on earth did someone look at that shade of light banana and think...”yes! That one! I’ll take a thousand.”
I implore anyone from UW marketing reading this to take the Henry Ford approach... “a fan can have a piece of clothing in any color they want as long as it’s purple”. -
