Not very well, actually. Even modern atypical antipsychotics are pretty sedating. Would definitely inhibit peak performance in a sport like football.animate said:You can still tackle people on antipsychotics...

I had a really good friend get diagnosed with schizophrenia in our early 20s and this is like deja vu but with social media. Kid needs to get some help.

Schizophrenia presents during early college years. There are differing degrees.
He has it bad. If you would like me to educate you about schizophrenia, I’m happy to.
However, that’s what he has and that’s why he’s fucked and it’s sad.
Weed and schizophrenia have absolutely nothing to do with each other. In our society, sure crazy people do more drugs... but the causal arrow is from being crazy to doing more drugs.
There is no evidence to suggest the reverse and there never has been.
Being schizo is not curable. You can sort of treat it, sort of. But mostly you’re just fucked.
It just gets worse and people don’t like to do deugs that make them comatose, for whatever reason - so it’s hard to get people to stay on their meds. -

To shine some light. My buddy was bio engineering major about to graduate from udub. He was diagnosed almost ten years ago. I've talked to him twice since his big break but talk to his mom a couple times a year. He wakes up every morning and chain smokes and drinks coke on their back porch all day long. Every fucking day.
