Thompson would be a good fit in Portland. He grew up there up until High School. He is more or less Scottie Pippen lite with a jumpshot. Portland is different this year. Nurk finally grew up and is playing like a 7 footer now that He is actually in shape. Kanter was a great addition in that they don’t have to play Collins or Leonard anymore.
Jake Layman has developed into a solid bench guy. But they still have the glaring weaknesses that are Aminu and Harkless. Guys that don’t start on most NBA teams. It’s still 50/50 as to whether they get out of the 1st rd. But they can play bully ball just as well as they can play run and gun this year. And that’s a new development. -

Durant is on record saying Portland is his favorite city to play in on the road. It's not cold as balls, has the best beer, CBD shots at bottle shops, isn't crowded as fuck, and is one of the best food cities in the us.
