A real conversation? Well, that’s different. So, you are correct by definition it wouldn’t make sense. However, what I would say is we don’t really have language to describe this. Gender does play a role in sexuality so someone that is by sex male but identifies their gender as female, describing them as a straight male would be insufficient. Given that, if they choose to also identify as lesbian, I’m fine with it.HillsboroDuck said:
Alright I'm game, explain this one to me. How exactly can someone of the male sex be a lesbian? Break this one down for me cause my brain is not computing.allpurpleallgold said:
Middle aged white guy tells everyone else how their body works. The science of the right.jecornel said:You are a man, you are not a lesbian. Doesn't work that way. Sorry.
If there was major push back from, um, traditional lesbians, I would say it needs to be handled differently. And while, I’m sure, you could find individuals against it, in general it seems to be ok with them. It’s not hurting anyone so what is the point of pushing back on this? It seems like it’s just something for middle aged white guys, that don’t realize they aren’t the 20 year old liberals they see themselves as, to yell about.
There is science behind transgenderism. We’re not all the way there yet. I have my own concerns but the evidence right now does seem to be pointing in the direction that would alleviate my concerns. Dealing with it is going to be messy, for a lot of reasons. For example, like I said we don’t even really have language to handle it. Fighting over this part of it seems largely unproductive and I don’t see in what way it’s helpful. -

The Andrew Sullivan article is an important read.
Though he is just an angry middle aged gay white man! What does he know!! -
Sullivan uses similar arguments against this that were used against gay marriage. It’s sad to see someone that was a real leader on gay rights resort to that. But he’s a boomer and they’ve shown over and over again that they don’t give a fuck about anyone else as long as they got theirs.Southerndawg said:

The Throbber totally identifies as a lesbian.jecornel said:
So you agree that a biological man can identify as a lesbian. He has male gentials present on his body you accept he is a lesbian?allpurpleallgold said:

Just a question. Don't get all triggered about it.
Chicks are awesome.

I appreciate the honest and reasoned response. Not sure I can ever get there, and I imagine the more biological males want to claim lesbian status the more "traditional" lesbians will push back, but that's just a guess at this point.allpurpleallgold said:

You are born with your body and sex. The only thing changing is the mind.
While complex psychologically it's not complex physically.
If you are confused look down while naked.
Since the psycho docs took being gay off the list of mental illnesses you are now supposed to treat them as normal.
The next one being removed is pedophilia.
Guard your children physically and mentally. It's going to get even stranger and more dangerous.

Don't be disingenuous. Pedophilia is problematic when acted out upon or with another person. Trannyism is self-contained. Poor comparison.Sledog said:You are born with your body and sex. The only thing changing is the mind.

You should have just started hearing about it in the news. It's the new plan. Pedophilia is more than problematic.GrundleStiltzkin said:
