    And?
You are naive if you think corporations care about anything other than making money.

My position on the matter is clearly stated. I'm for investment in renewable energy. I'm for cleaner environment. In that realm, I'm for China and India reducing their pollution and Obama was a pussy in those negotiations.

Just like any investment, there's an initial cost and the returns down the road are greater than the cost. Just like the interstate system.

Mike thinks the private industry will solve the world's energy issues. And that corporations will act responsibly and not destroy the environment.
You’re a fucking idiot. Link where I said that.

I’ll let you research what your logical fallacy is. Dick for brains

I was going to ask how. Then I remembered you actually think the plan requires every single building to be rebuilt and everyone to be a vegetarian.

If a corporation dumped toxins into a river and there was widespread publicity as there would be, would that corporation make money or go out of business?

The profit motive which simpletons like the people you vote for think is evil is actually a powerful incentive

Well I guess I need to continue searching. I read this thread in hopes that the solution to climate change was hidden in these poasts. Wrong again...

I moved to Pacific Co, a while ago and carefully selected a house and property that is at an elevation where I will survive the rising waters. I will soon have waterfront, woo hoo. The better news is all the rich fucks that bought waterfront property are all going to be dead (they will be stoopid and just sit there and drown).

As is the incentive to be first with any economically viable alternative to existing technology. Hondo's favorite group to hate, "Big oil", actually spends billions per year in alternative fuels and other "clean" energy technologies research and development.

The Throbber is sitting at 3000+ feet above sea level and y'all sitting lower than about 1000 feet are fucked under AOC's timeline.

In the end, we're all going to be dead any way. So party on, Garth.

I'm at 1300 feet altitude (hi @BearsWiin ) hopefully on the east side of the crack where the land to the west goes into the ocean during the big one leaving me a cliff top mansion with an ocean view even though we rent a tract home

    Somebody doesn't understnad strike-slip faults
  • RaceBannonRaceBannon Member, Moderator, Swaye's Wigwam Posts: 110,651 Founders Club
Transform faults within continental plates include some of the best known examples of strike-slip structures, such as the San Andreas Fault, the Dead Sea Transform, the North Anatolian Fault and the Alpine Fault.
