Puka, while only one guy, changes the entire complexion (tried dimension first, then complexion, I cannot find the right word but fuck off because English isn't my first language anyway) of this class. Had we gotten a stud TE and one more legit RB this class is an A+. I have it as a B+/A- type class now, and probably our best ever. The issue with people is they say "This is our best class ever so it is an A+!" The problem with that is Bama exists. You have to view our class in the landscape of college football as a whole.
Yes, it is an A+ UW type class, but for Bama, Ohio State, etc. it's a nice B+ type class, and that's who it should be judged against, because that is who we have to play to win a CFP game or two.

he right that Pao Pao needs to pick it up. His only really great recruiting win is...Hunter Bryant? He's amazing don't get me wrong but I'm not giving tons of credit for an in state pick up, unless it's a Savell/JT level guy, who we usually lose.

So - I think it's just depending on how you grade things... but I think he really changed things around for this class. For instance - just add NKeal Harry to our 2017 class - it would have been a HUGE difference. I don't think Puka is as good as NKeal, but we had neither number nor quality and Puka fixed that in one recruit. So, a lot of times - one recruit can matter if he is positioned correctly.

To me, it signaled a win at closing tim against what may have been some shady dealings. That's big. Especially after we thought we had done that with Kaho and then didn't.
