Someone posted 20 minutes of AOC with Axelshit and I couldn't last more than 3 minutes. She is a joke. Her ideas are generally awful and she is suggesting things that literally no one will get behind. Most of the country doesn't even fucking recycle. Could you imagine asking people to stop flying and ride a bike everywhere? Ride a train? No one rides trains. To even build a decent train network across the country would take 20-30 years. Seattle can't even build one decent fucking transit train.
I am all for making better choices as we move ahead as a society but let's not be completely utterly stupid. Look at Musk, Tesla may or may not make it but it has pushed other car makers to follow suit with electric cars. Through innovation, he has pushed others to innovate. I would expect Ford or Daimler to outperform Tesla.
It will be up to the free market to solve problems, not the government. The government is highly skilled at flushing money down the toilet. -
