I know deductions from my check went down after the tax cut took effect. I'm just guessing that might reduce the refund amount.

The Tax plan was a joke. EVERYBODY I know is getting significantly less back or are owing when they received refunds last year. I called it from the beginning. If you are a homeowner who lives in a state income tax state, you were gonna take it in the ass. And save the BUT BUT... they withheld less!!! They did, but not near enough to off set the tax amounts collected overall.

Could it be that "refunds" are down because the Government didn't rob as much from you through out the year? I've not received a "refund" from the Federal government since I was in my 20s. Why the fuck should I give them an interest free loan for the year?
Refunds are just shitty financial planning.

    This. Whiff a bullet.

Americans who produce pay taxes. You're a sad economic contributor if you're waiting for your tax free loan return from the FEDs.

It's certainly not how APAGs two dads could afford to raise him in the most privileged island in Washington.

They paid capital gains, they didnt wait for returns on income taxes because they knew they owed.

No good reason why federal taxpayers should have to subsidize states' income taxes.

But they should "subsidize" fortune 500 companies and billionaires?

Didn't think you had an intelligent response.

You want an intelligent response don't post about your stupid friends who don't understand how refunds work

That's not how we make policy

Perception has nothing to do with politics anymore? You want to talk about stupid friends who can't even understand the green new deal?
