Could it be that "refunds" are down because the Government didn't rob as much from you through out the year? I've not received a "refund" from the Federal government since I was in my 20s. Why the fuck should I give them an interest free loan for the year?allpurpleallgold said: -

Here's the point lost on Troomps. As you don't want to hear anything negative ever about anything Trump did. This is something Trump supporters are blaming on him, regardless of the actual reasons why it happened.
But reality is, this will be forgotten when Trump starts screaming about the wall again. They will get reenergized. -
Every single case where somebody has bitched about their refund being less, I've noticed that their total taxes paid were less in 2018 than 2017. In other words, they were simply taking home more in each paychecks due to less withholding.
It's really stupid and pointless to compare refund amounts instead of total taxes paid. -
