Buddy of mine went to Yale on a hockey scholarship. What we learned:
You go to Yale if (and only if) your family is blue blood and you plan to go into politics OR your family is not blue blood but you want to go to law school and then work on Wall Street.
You do not go to Yale if any of the previous two conditions are not met.
He is now a PE teacher at nice high school in a small town.
West coast kids and Ivy League schools only work when kid will go to a school where he will take computer engineering and come back to the Valley.
