How much money are CBS and Augusta paying him for his two day appearance? Can't imagine he'll actually be competitive his first time out in however long it's been.

Freddy says Tiger is ready but it would be a miracle to contend IMO -
Is there anyone in current top 20 that you trust at the moment?RaceBannon said:

It’s there for the taking, I like #MyLouis to finish top three but never actually be in contention. -
Rahm is the favorite.Bob_C said:

Not really but I'd take the usual suspects at this point. Woods is the only man since Ben Hogan who could pull this off thoughBob_C said:

My pre match power rankings
Colin Morikawa
Durwood Johnson
John Rahm -

Only one other man could draw a crowd like this for a practice round.RaceBannon said:

Nice to see local Cam Davis getting some press attention for playing a few holes with Tiger. He’s a good dude.DerekJohnson said:

JT is wildly overrated. Only major win was at a regular PGA tour stop. His major record blows compared to his earnings, it’s not like he’s ever close either and is just about ready to turn top 5’s or top 10’s into wins.RaceBannon said: -

Rory is mid 30s now still on 4. Spieth is lost
Actually think Morikowa is the most tiger like -
Go look at the betting lines for every major and who every “expert” picks. He has super low odds and gets lots of expert picks and never comes close to delivering. That’s the definition of overrated. Modern day Davis Love.RaceBannon said:

Watching Spieth take practice swings today and he is beyond lost. He chased distance and it fucked him. Seen that story before. I agree on Morikawa, he’s just not going to win the masters ever in my opinion. Bad course fit for him. He’ll win a few more other majors. Zalotoris is the young guy to watch out for. I feel like I’ve been watching Nieman for 10 years and he’s only 23. He’s another one. Rory has been dead for a long time. -
4 majors is tied for 20th all time. Pretty rare air. Gets more rare when you get to 6.
Then at 9 you have Hogan and Player. Double digits is Hagen, Jack, and Tiger.
If Brooks and Rory never win another history will be kinder to them than we are.
Most guts win their majors in a bunch when they are at the top of their game. Most can't sustain it for various reasons
Tiger played about half as many majors as Jack because of injuries. Seeing his followers getting hurt now
It's stupid to kill yourself for 40 yards off the tee. Chip and putt instead. That carried Tiger Thursday

Rory’s last 8 years summed up perfectly in one hole today at number 9. Hits a 330 yard perfect drive around the corner, then sticks his wedge from 113 yards to like 50 feet.

Rory didn't want the fame after he got it. His head is messed up
Scottie Scheffler is on the clock for the next big thing. He could win this week -
5 shot lead
Don't go all Greg Norman now
-
I'd lime to smash Cameron Smith's face in so go Scottie
-

-
A tradition unlike any other
Rory with the all time back door second place finish
A rather ho hum affair that was over Friday evening but Scottie Scheffler is now the man of the hour -
I'm normally a final round of the majors golf fan, but I glanced at the leaderboard Sunday AM and skipped watching.

Cameron Smith going for the white trash Rickie Fowler look?

Classic Rory for sure. I was right on JT.RaceBannon said:A tradition unlike any other

I don't watch golf nor do I play it but I have some friends who do avidly and they tell me Prime Time Tiger was the best "peak player" there ever will be. Sort of like Tyson. At his best there was absolutely nobody better. Women derailed both Tyson and Woods. Interesting.RaceBannon said: -
I was around when Jack was still in his prime and he was the GOAT and has the numbers but there has never been a golfer as exciting and dominant as Tiger. Must see TV. With a DVR that isSwaye said:

I agree that from 1997 to 2008 it was the greatest golf ever played. We? had just got out of Greg Norman who had all the talent in the world and was a choking fucking dog. Tiger was 14-1 with the lead after 3 in the majors
He started breaking down in 2011 and had one more run in 12 and 13. He won the 2013 Players for win 79. He's at 82 and he got those in his 18 and 19 comeback
The 2019 Masters is legend. All the young bucks put it in the water and Tiger walked through the door to #15 -
I've heard Tiger played in a much more competitive era top to bottom, but I have no idea as I don't know who Jack was up against. I assume they mean field top to bottom because Vijay and Phil are sort of meh it feels like. Again, I am talking out of my ass. I couldn't putt for par if you started me on the green.RaceBannon said:

Peak Tiger was the most dominant athlete that I'm old enough to remember and I agree with those who say he faced tougher competition than the old timers did.Swaye said:

It made for good viewing. Way better than watching Greg Norman constantly look dominant but lose to boring, short hitters like Faldo or Bernhard Langer. I miss it and can't get myself to care about any currently good golfers.
