You guys don't understand technology, but it's okay because you didn't go to Oregon State even that has an actual CS program, so I get it.
It’s hilarious that you think it’s about technology. This is simply an avenue to funnel money from rich donors into players pockets.
UW is out here giving kids $100-$200 for jersey sales, and about $50 and some tip change for an interview. Oregon on the other hand is creating lanes (middlemen) where rich donors can put thousands of dollars into players pockets. It’s not about NFTs, home rentals, etc. it’s about creating “business” situations that create massive money deposits.
What’s to prevent a major donor from spending a $100k on an NFT, or spending $25k for a weekend house rental?
