Thomas was the most qualified person. He and Scalia were the two top minds for decades on the Supreme Court. Now it is just Thomas as the the top justice. Thomas makes the wise Latina look like a Sotomayor who thinks that a fireman's exam was inherently racist because black were failing it at a higher rate than whites. That higher knowledge just can't be taught. You need to read the entrails of the Constitution for the penumbras and emanations that are override the actual words of the Constitution.
