I was recently seen at a very large HC provider in the PDX metro area. They let go 100's of employees recently. Overheard a staff member apologizing to a patient about needing to reschedule due to a shortage of necessary workers to assist patients. Signs everywhere asking for patience during this time. The people ultimately hurt here are patients.
